Heat Transfer Products Names Ed Nordstrom Western Regional Sales Manager for U.S. and Canada
Heat Transfer veterans Steve Wilson and John Sawyer also tabbed to head Midwest/South and Northeast sales regions, respectively
BLUFFDALE, UTAH (NOVEMBER 11, 2008) — Heat Transfer Products (HTP) recently announced that hydronics industry veteran Ed Nordstrom has joined the company as Sales Manager – Western Region. Based in Santa Fe, N.M., Nordstrom will be responsible for all sales and technical training activities in the Western United States and Western Canada. Dale Townsend, who serves as Western Region Technical Training Manager, will report to him.
Nordstrom previously served as general manager and chief operating officer for Viessmann Manufacturing Company (U.S.), director of Hot Water Maker Products at Amtrol, and vice president of engineering for A.O. Smith Water Products. “Heat Transfer is poised for strong future growth in the West, thanks to substantial investments we have made in the combined talents of Ed and Dale, as well as the creation of our new Western Region Training Center,” commented HTP President David R. Martin. The training center opened this past spring at the newly refurbished showroom and training facility of HTP sales representative, Rocky Mountain Integrated Solutions, Inc. in Bluffdale, Utah.
Martin also announced two other important changes in HTP’s regional sales management structure:
- Midwest/South: Sales and Marketing Manager Steve Wilson has been named Sales Manager – Midwest/South Region, based in Red Lion, Pa. Wilson will also oversee the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
- Northeast: Technical Training Manager John Sawyer has been given the additional assignment of Sales Manager – Northeast Region, based at company headquarters in East Freetown. He will also oversee the Maritime Provinces in Canada.
Eastern Region Technical Training Manager Chuck Shaw will report to Wilson and to Sawyer.
